Your child gets one specialized nurse for their entire treatment plan, in every specialty we serve. Our pediatric nurses combine advanced clinical skill with a family-centered approach, with your child’s safety and comfort at the center of every infusion. A parent or guardian is always there too.
Lab draws made easier
For patients through age 18, your nurse draws all the labs your doctor orders during the scheduled visit, before the infusion starts. A medical courier takes the samples to the lab of your choice. (The lab bills for processing, not HIO.)
During the visit
During the infusion, your child's nurse watches closely for any sign of a reaction while your child does everyday things like homework, crafts, or video games. Our nurses are trained in reaction management and bring an anaphylaxis kit to every visit.
